The first hit pushes the opponent back enough so the second hit connects. įorward Smash -> Raiden starts with a diagonal slash with his sword held in his foot, then seamlessly drops his sword and catches it with his hand to do a spinning leap forwards into the air and come slamming down onto the opponent with his sword. Up Smash -> Raiden throws his sword above his head and does a one-handed handstand to catch his sword with his foot, he then spins rapidly on the ground, spinning his sword at the same time, it looks a bit like Bowser Jr.'s up smash. That shockwave can also launch people who weren't impaled on his sword, but to a lesser extent. ĭown Air -> Raiden piledrives into the ground with his sword, bringing anyone who gets hit along for the ride until they hit the ground, creating a shockwave to launch them away. Up Air -> Raiden slices above his head in an arc, this move is a good juggling tool because of its speed and power. This move changes the direction he is facing, and the first hit of this move connects into the second. īack Air -> Raiden stabs his sword behind him, then drops his sword so he can catch it with his foot and turns around to slice overhead at the opponent. įorward Air -> Raiden drops his blade and catches it with his foot, then he swings diagonally in front of him from overhead and returns to normal position afterwards. Both hits do knockback, and they do not connect into eachother. Neutral Air -> Raiden holds his leg out with his blade held in his foot, and he quickly spins around in a circle twice at an angle similar to Marth's neutral air. If you are in the way when Raiden sticks his sword into the ground, you will get hit. Ledge Get-Up Attack -> Raiden sticks his sword in the ground above the ledge and bounds off of it with a handstand, landing on his feet. Ground Get-Up Attack -> Raiden spins on his back with his legs out, kicking anyone in the way. ![]() You can't run through the opponent using this. You can keep pressing the button and he will continue to slice while he runs. Raiden slices his sword in a variety of directions, but his momentum will not halt. ĭash Attack -> This dash attack is special. This move is a decent combo starter or extender, and can poke through the bottom of a shield if it's too small. Has a high chance of tripping the opponent, otherwise the move puts the enemy in a lot of hitstun, but does not have good knockback. ĭown Tilt -> Raiden crouches and slashes with his blade low down to the ground. It has a wide area that it can hit like Marth/Lucina's up tilt. Up Tilt -> Raiden backflips with his legs raised and his blade held in his foot, giving the move a long disjointed hitbox. This move has great knockback.įorward Tilt -> Raiden tosses his sword and catches it with his right leg while he is low down to the ground, and uses his momentum from moving his leg to horizontally slash in front of him with his leg, at the throat of the enemy. Raiden holds his sword in his foot and does 3 hops, each accompanied with a slash from his blade, then he stops to rapidly slice in a multitude of directions in front of him, and then finishes with a vicious lunge straight ahead. ![]()
